Before I even touch my digital camera, I shoot 2–4 Polaroids first. Yeah… that’s about $8 gone in a couple minutes. 😂 So why do I still do it? Because Polaroids change the energy of a shoot. They loosen people up. They aren’t perfect, overly sharp, or heavily edited — and that’s exactly the point. It makes everything feel more human and less pressured. They also slow things down.
