Team Sprint (Freestyle) — The Team Sprint event fields paired teams of two athletes each, and follows the interval-start format. Each of a team’s two skiers alternate in timed turns around the event’s 1,585-meter (approximately 1 mile) course, with the event’s final round consisting of more overall laps than the earlier, qualifying knockout round.
